VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT: PROJECT SUPPORT OFFICER
The Northern Dimension Partnership in Public Health and Social Well-being (NDPHS) Secretariat in Stockholm, Sweden is looking for a motivated individual to join the team to support the implementation, administration, and communication of projects run by the organisation.
DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLE
The NDPHS provides a platform for expert-level cooperation of Partner Countries, the WHO, the European Commission, and other international organisations, to lead the way to sustainable and inclusive societies with equal opportunities for good health and well-being for all people throughout the life course.
Our mission is to provide an inclusive cross-sectoral platform for health advocacy.
NDPHS is also the coordinator of Policy Area Health within the EU Strategy for the Baltic Sea Region to build resilient societies, promoting active and healthy ageing, the Health in All Policies and the Economy of Well-being concepts, and increasing institutional and stakeholder capacity to tackle regional health challenges, including those related to emergencies.
For this purpose, the NDPHS Secretariat is engaged in several projects, both as a project leader and as a project partner. The staff member working on project support will increase the team’s capacity to effectively develop, implement, administer, and disseminate outcomes of the projects.
The position is open to applicants with varying experience, leaving the exact job title and description to be determined depending on the selected applicant’s profile. As a minimum, the project support staff member is expected to:

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The contract is offered until June 2027 with the possibility of an extension according to funding availability. The starting date is preferably in September 2024 or as soon as possible. The first six months of employment are a probationary period. The place of employment is Stockholm, Sweden.
The position will be offered at a salary grade determined by the NDPHS’ internal staff regulations corresponding to the applicant’s experience and skills.
The internationally recruited Secretariat’s staff and their family members have access to Swedish health care on the same terms as other Swedish residents.
